The negotiation between Sassuolo and Inter for Kristjan Asllani has not yet gained momentum. The Albanian midfielder, coming off a double loan spell at Besiktas and Torino last season, remains set to leave the Nerazzurri club, but the Emilia-based club has not yet made a decisive move.

According to La Gazzetta di Modena, the reasons are mainly tactical. Alberto Aquilani, in the playmaker position, already has Nemanja Matic and Luca Lipani, two players who cover that role. The presence of established alternatives has therefore slowed down concrete interest in Asllani.

However, should a favorable economic opportunity arise, Sassuolo could reconsider the deal. The player, after all, had already been closely followed by the Neroverdi club in the past, a sign that the technical appreciation for him has never waned.
