Inter is working on two fronts: on one hand, it is looking for suitable profiles to strengthen the squad available to Chivu; on the other, it wants to sell those who are no longer part of the coach’s plans. Among the outgoing names, Asllani and Davide Frattesi stand out, both waiting for updates on potential suitors.
According to Il Giorno, the two sales could bring in around forty million euros, valuable resources to finance the transfer campaign. Part of the funds has already been used: fifteen million were spent to redeem Akanji, while twenty-three for the buyback of Stankovic (but 10 had been collected a year ago from Bruges).
The Nerazzurri management is waiting for concrete developments on the outgoing front, with the aim of reinvesting the proceeds in targeted objectives. The strategy is clear: sell to buy, maintaining economic balance without giving up on strengthening the team.
