Inter could soon receive a percentage from the sale of Lucien Agoumé. According to AS, several Premier League clubs are monitoring the French midfielder, currently at Sevilla, where he has stood out with excellent performances. The player, who moved from the Nerazzurri club to the Andalusian side in January 2024, has a release clause of 40 million euros that could attract several English clubs.

Sevilla gradually acquired the rights to Agoumé after taking him on loan from Inter, investing a total of around 9 million euros. The Nerazzurri, however, still retain 10% of the player’s rights, a detail that could translate into an interesting financial return should the Frenchman be sold for a significant amount. The midfielder’s contract with the Spanish club will expire in June 2028.

Last summer, Agoumé turned down an offer from Saudi Arabia valued between 20 and 25 million euros. A choice that could prove to be a winning one: the Frenchman’s performances have further increased interest in him and already in January higher offers could arrive. The Premier League represents the main threat for Sevilla, with English clubs ready to consider the opportunity to activate the clause.

Inter is watching the situation as an interested spectator, aware that any possible transfer of the player would bring a share of the amount collected by the Andalusian club into the Nerazzurri’s coffers.
