The sprint start of Inter in the Champions League has undoubtedly been a source of pride for the Nerazzurri fans but also of confidence for coach Cristian Chivu and the whole squad. In fact, the first two victories in Europe helped the Nerazzurri regain morale after the initial defeats in Serie A and now the season is progressing well.
Thanks also to some defeats of certain big teams in these first two rounds, such as Chelsea or Liverpool, now Inter is being observed with greater confidence in the Champions League by those who do the analysis. The Supercomputer algorithm from Opta has in fact updated its predictions after the latest round of European cups and now the Nerazzurri are very high up.
The prediction from Opta for the final Champions League standings actually places Inter in sixth place with a forecast of 15.17 total points. Ahead of the Nerazzurri are only Arsenal, PSG, Bayern, Real Madrid, and Manchester City. Other big teams like Liverpool, Barcelona, and Chelsea are instead predicted by the algorithm to be behind them.
