A few minutes before the match against Napoli, Petar Sucic spoke to the microphones of DAZN, analyzing the importance of the match and his role in the team. The Croatian midfielder was named in the starting lineup for a match of significant importance.
“Every match is important, not just the big games. We know the season is long,” explained Sucic. “In every game we have to try to get the three points, we have a good team, many good players and I’m happy when the coach lets me play and gives me confidence.”
The Nerazzurri player then commented on the difference between his performances for the national team and those with the club. “I always try to do my best, but it’s different with the national team. You have few matches and you’re freer to make your plays. At the club you train all year and you have to understand what the coach wants, the most important thing is the result and not individual plays,” concluded the Croatian.
