At the microphones of Sky Sport, before the match between Real Madrid and Inter, Aldo Serena analyzed the tactical keys of the game at the Bernabéu. The former Nerazzurri striker emphasized the importance of Marcus Thuram‘s recovery for the team’s ambitions.
“The recovery of Thuram is fundamental to try to win the match. Pio Esposito with Lautaro would not have provided as much danger,” said Serena. According to the former player, the French striker represents an extra weapon compared to the alternatives.
For the Nerazzurri captain, however, Serena predicts a complicated evening: “Lautaro will have a match of suffering, of selflessness, he will have few chances to shine in the penalty area.” The Argentine striker will therefore have to sacrifice himself more in the defensive phase.
Thuram must be in good condition to exploit Real Madrid‘s weaknesses: “He must dictate the pass and attack the depth in light of Real Madrid‘s struggling midfield,” concluded the former Nerazzurri striker.
