La Russa on the referee case: “I am calm, I spoke with Marotta”

In the heated hours of the referee case, with the investigation that since April 25th has been leaking new elements every hour, Ignazio La Russa, President of the Senate, Inter fan and president of the Inter Club Parliament, also intervenes. To the agency AdnKronos he declares: “I spoke with Marotta, he seemed calm and convinced, so I am also calm and convinced… But then, what are we talking about? They say we were given a friendly referee and with him we lost 3 to 0…”.

Meanwhile, in these hours, it has emerged from the Prosecutor’s Office that neither Inter nor Inter executives are under investigation. There are currently five referees under investigation and known, but the number of those registered would be much higher. There is anticipation for April 30th, the date on which the referee selector Rocchi and the VAR supervisor Gervasoni, who suspended themselves after receiving notice of investigation, are expected for a hearing with the Public Prosecutor. However, they could exercise their right not to answer.
