After a very complicated start to the season with zero wins in ten matches, Fiorentina has decided to part ways with its coach Stefano Pioli. The former coach of Inter and Milan was the protagonist of a terrible start and the Viola are now in last place in the standings with only 4 draws and 6 defeats.

As reported by Sky Sport, it remains to be seen only the terms under which the Tuscan club and the coach will separate. Pioli is therefore virtually already the former coach of Fiorentina and only the official statement from the club is awaited; in the meantime, the players are in retreat at Viola Park to prepare for the upcoming matches.

Last week it was actually his former Inter that inflicted a clear 3-0 defeat on him at San Siro, and then Fiorentina in the last round of Serie A also lost 0-1 at home to Lecce. Now for the replacement there is the internal option: Daniele Galloppa, current coach of the Viola Primavera, could be placed ad interim on the bench.
