The fantastic season of Francesco Pio Esposito continues, on loan for the second year to Spezia from Inter. The forward born in 2005, highly regarded by the Inter executives, seems to have truly exploded and continues to lead the Serie B goalscoring chart.
Esposito, in fact, scored for the 12th time this season and kicked off Spezia’s stunning comeback against Palermo. Two goals down at home in the 92nd minute, the striker owned by Inter scored the goal that narrowed the gap, with a stretching header like a true bomber.
A goal that rekindled hopes for the Ligurians. In fact, a few minutes later, in the 95th minute, practically on the last action of the match, came the equalizing goal, scored by Giuseppe Aurelio and which avoided a defeat that seemed already certain.
