On the Numer1 Podcast on YouTube, the title race was discussed, with three pundits expressing very different views on the favorite for the championship.
Cruciani is the most convinced: “Only Roma can lose this championship. They are certainly the strongest team, have made very few mistakes. The only defeat was against Real Madrid and they were ahead 3-1 with seven minutes to go; they dominated every match except for a few moments, like against Napoli.” The journalist then adds a reference to the absences: “They are missing Dybala; Svilar, if he played for Inter, it would be a whole different story; Kone is also out. If Roma don’t win the championship, it’s because something strange happens: it’s almost impossible for them not to win.”
Cruciani’s percentages are clear: 55% to Roma, 40% to Inter, 5% to Milan.
Sandro Sabatini distributes the odds differently: 45% to both Inter and Roma, 8% to Lazio and 2% to Como. Ivan Zazzaroni, on the other hand, is the only one of the three to indicate the Nerazzurri as favorites: “70% Inter, 22% Roma, 8% Lazio.”
