No loan move for Mattia Mosconi. The young striker will stay with the Nerazzurri and will alternate between the Under 23 team and the first team, following a gradual development path desired by coach Cristian Chivu.
According to Tuttosport, the coach has clearly expressed his desire to keep Mosconi in the squad. While waiting for reinforcements from the transfer market, Chivu is organizing with the players at his disposal and has identified the striker as someone to invest in for the future.
The project is ambitious: the goal is to make him a new Pio Esposito, a homegrown talent with a strong sense of belonging to the club. Moving between the Under 23 and the first team should allow the player to mature at the right pace, gaining experience without rushing the process.
A choice that confirms the club’s policy of focusing on youth from the academy, enhancing them through a structured path that alternates training with the seniors and minutes on the pitch with Chivu‘s team.
