According to TMW Radio, Massimo Caputi gave an important opinion on the young Nerazzurri striker. The journalist, who appeared as a guest on the station, discussed the prospects of Serie A after the first two matchdays of the championship.

On the Roma transfer market and the possible duel with Inter, Caputi commented: “Everything and the opposite of everything has been said about the transfer market. Certain names have arrived, those who arrived did so suddenly. We’ll see what else they do in the market, especially up high on the left.”

The journalist then addressed the Konè case: “I believe Gasperini closed the Konè issue last night; after his words, if you sell him you really have to do something important to replace him and avoid problems.” Regarding the Giallorossi’s ambitions, he added: “I think that the Roma we’ve seen so far and their prospects, yes, would go to the Premier League but wouldn’t fight for the championship or the Champions League. Konè currently earns less than others, but I’m curious to see how his soap opera and the transfer market will end. And to see if they will be Inter’s rival. And I see harmony between the players and the coach.”

The most interesting part concerned Pio Esposito. Asked about the young striker, Caputi replied: “He has the qualities to be Inter’s and the National Team’s striker of the future. He has technical qualities. He plays at a high level with Inter.”
