In recent hours, Yann Bisseck officially signed a new contract with Inter. The German defender has renewed his contract until June 2029, further committing himself to the Nerazzurri colors. From his arrival to the extraordinary growth shown after his first year in Milan: here is the interview given by the German defender after the signing at the club’s headquarters.
RENEWAL – I feel that the Company trusts me, as does the coach: everyone has contributed to this renewal and they are happy with my growth. I think this signature is a positive moment for everyone.
BALANCE – I think I did better than many expected. I don’t think many knew my name before I came here, but I did a good job learning the tactics and methods of Italian football. Also learning the language has been useful: I think so far it has been a satisfying experience.
WHERE TO GROW – In many things: I am not a perfect player, but I am still young and there are many aspects in which I can still improve, especially from the tactical and mental point of view of the game. Technically and physically I am at a good level: in my opinion my growth must pass through mentality.
CAREER JUMP – It may seem strange, but yes: I always believed I could have a good career in football. My journey has not always been easy, but I always thought I could make it: now that I am here it is a very beautiful moment for me and my family, I will try to continue on this path.
GROUP – I didn’t expect to arrive at such a big Club and find such special and available teammates. Often when you play with high-level footballers, it can happen that those who come from smaller realities are not respected, but here everyone has helped me a lot, even the players who have my same role. Everyone has been kind, I felt at home from the beginning: now I can really say that Milan is my home.
FAN IDOL – Perhaps ‘idol’ is a bit too much, but I love these fans and the support they give us. Clearly we are living positive periods, but I think they will always be with us: I hope they continue to appreciate me, I will try to repay them with good performances on the field and hopefully with another trophy.
