After 10 points in four Champions League games, thanks to victories against Arsenal, Young Boys and Red Star Belgrade plus a draw on Manchester City’s field, Inter now face two challenging matches against two German opponents – Leipzig and Bayer Leverkusen.

The first one is tomorrow evening against Marco Rose’s Leipzig, a team that’s having a hard time in the Champions League and is still on zero points after four rounds. For Simone Inzaghi, it will be important to attempt to secure another prestigious victory in this European campaign where Inter have not conceded a single goal yet.

Should Inter win and move up to 13 points, as Tuttosport highlights today, the chances for the Nerazzurri to get an early pass to the Champions League round of 16 would be very high. After the double clash with the two German teams, Inter will still play against Sparta Prague and Monaco.

After Saturday’s victory against Verona, Inzaghi is considering making several changes to the lineup to manage energy in the best possible way. As the Piedmont daily always reports, there could be seven or even eight changes in the starting line-up from the one that was seen at Bentegodi.

Returning from the first minute are Taremi, Lautaro Martinez, Calhanoglu, De Vrij, Pavard, Dimarco, Dumfries, and perhaps even Frattesi. Sommer, Bisseck and a midfielder between Barella and Mkhitaryan seem to be the only ones expected to retain their starting positions.
