With the international break now over, Inter can get back to work with a full squad, as the last players who were away representing their national teams will return to Appiano Gentile in the coming hours. Head coach Simone Inzaghi and his staff are preparing for their next match, scheduled for Sunday against Udinese.

The Inter coach does not intend to take any risks against the Friulian side and is determined to secure all three points at San Siro on Sunday at 6 p.m. According to today’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport, Inzaghi plans to field all of his key players without focusing already on upcoming fixtures, such as the Coppa Italia derby against Milan.

For this reason, Marcus Thuram is expected to return to action, with the hope that he will be fully fit again after missing out on games with the France national team. Additionally, Inzaghi is regaining two important wide players in Federico Dimarco and Matteo Darmian. Darmian, in particular, will represent a precious wildcard solution, given the injury to Dumfries and the suspension of Bastoni.
