Antonio Cabrini spoke to the microphones of Tuttosport about the future of Juventus, indicating the summer transfer window as the decisive moment to strengthen the Bianconeri squad. Among the names mentioned by the former full-back, Hakan Çalhanoğlu, currently at Inter, stands out.
When asked how to improve the team, Cabrini replied: “Carnevali and Massara already have one advantage: having found themselves a very good coach. Between January and next summer, however, they will have to further adjust Juve.” The departments to be strengthened, according to the former defender, would be midfield and attack: “They need a midfielder and a forward. But two of absolute quality.”
It is in midfield that Cabrini identifies the most concrete opportunity. “In the middle, I would go for Calhanoglu: if he does not renew with Inter, it is an opportunity that Juve will have to consider very seriously. He is a player who can change the face of the team.” A transfer suggestion therefore linked to the evolution of the Turkish midfielder’s contract with the Nerazzurri club.
