The role of the goalkeeper is a hot topic at Inter. According to what Tuttosport reported in its current edition, evaluations are underway in Milan regarding this department, with Martinez currently under scrutiny by the management.

The Turin-based newspaper outlines a precise scenario for the summer: “Today in Milan, evaluations are underway for the goalkeeper position, Martinez is under examination, but if he were to be replaced at the end of the season, almost certainly president Marotta would aim for a top player of great reliability,” it reads.

In the short term, however, the situation seems defined: tomorrow evening Provedel should be between the posts for the first time, even though Josep Martinez will still remain the designated starter.
