The defeat of Inter at the Santiago Bernabeu against Real Madrid continues to spark debate. The Nerazzurri team conceded two goals due to individual lapses, and in the hours following the match, a debate arose over who was responsible for the first goal scored by the Blancos.
At the center of the discussion are Curtis Jones and Yann Bisseck. Tancredi Palmeri took a firm stance, decisively rejecting the criticism directed at the German defender.
“I read that the responsibility for the first goal is being placed on Bisseck. This means not understanding anything about football. It is totally Jones’s fault, who touches the ball 10 times in a normal possession, goes up and down, draws the pressure of three players, and then passes it into no man’s land where Bisseck tries to patch things up,” declared the journalist.
According to Palmeri, therefore, the error should be attributed entirely to Jones, who, during the build-up, managed the ball poorly by attracting opposing pressure before delivering it into a dangerous area. Bisseck, on the other hand, would have tried to remedy an already compromised situation.
