Javier Zanetti dedicated a special message to the Treble won by Inter in 2010, included in ‘MM23’, the interactive book that retraces the career of Marco Materazzi. The Nerazzurri vice president emphasized the historical importance of that achievement, still unique today in the Italian football scene.
The book presents itself as an emotional journey through objects, memorabilia, jerseys, trophies, and memories that have characterized Materazzi‘s career. Inside, Pupi’s words recall the conquest of the Champions League, the final piece of an unrepeatable season.
“That team, together with a great leader like José Mourinho, managed to do something extraordinary,” said Zanetti. The vice president highlighted how winning the Treble represented one of the most important pages in the club’s history, a feat that no other Italian team has yet managed to replicate.
The former Nerazzurri captain wanted to underline the difficulty of the goal achieved, recalling how that team was able to write an indelible page in the history of Italian football.
