Inter is finalizing the last bureaucratic details for John Stones. The English defender, now close to joining the Nerazzurri as a free agent, will sign a two-year contract worth 4 million euros net per season plus bonuses. According to Sportmediaset, once the formalities are completed, Stones will not join the team on tour, but will stay in Milan to undergo athletic tests and begin a personalized training program.
On the Cristian Romero front, negotiations remain open despite complications. There is still a significant gap between the parties involved, both regarding the formula and the financial valuation. The Milanese club would prefer to close the deal with a paid loan accompanied by an obligation to buy set at 40 million euros, while Tottenham is asking for 50.
An agreement with the Argentine player has already been reached, but negotiations between the two clubs remain complex. Despite the difficulties, according to Mediaset the deal should not be considered closed and Inter will continue to work to try to complete the operation.
