Inter is ready to leave for the Asian tour, but will have to deal with two important absences. Kristjan Asllani and Yanis Massolin will hardly board the flight that on Wednesday evening will take the team to Hong Kong, where the friendly match against Manchester City is scheduled.
The two midfielders are dealing with a muscle strain suffered during the last days of training in Donaueschingen. According to Corriere dello Sport, both will be evaluated shortly, before departure for the tour that will continue in Perth, Australia, with matches against Milan and Juventus.
Upon returning to Italy, the Nerazzurri will complete their preparation for the new season, probably with another friendly around August 15. The official debut in the 2026-27 season is set for Saturday, August 22 at San Siro against Monza, with kick-off at 6:30 pm.
