Inter intends to complete the Romero deal with a permanent purchase, with payment in installments, and not through the loan formula with an obligation to buy. The Nerazzurri management is confident about the successful outcome of the negotiation, which, according to forecasts, should reach a conclusion—positive or negative—within about ten days.

The offer prepared by the Milanese club is around 40 million euros. Tottenham has opened up to the possible sale of the Argentine, who is in any case set to leave the Spurs. Furthermore, the English club’s demands are lower than what emerged in recent weeks: the initial 50 million is no longer being requested, but rather a more contained sum.

The current financial conditions therefore come closer to Inter’s expectations, making the deal more accessible compared to the initial indications. The negotiation now enters its decisive phase.
