In his latest video appearance, Alfio Musmarra commented on Oaktree‘s position regarding Inter‘s free transfer operations. The journalist referred to a recent article from Gazzetta dello Sport picked up by other outlets, but downplayed its significance.

“There is no news,” Musmarra explained, recalling what emerged on Monday during the press conference. “Marotta, in response to my question, answered clearly for the first time by saying that commissions and signing bonuses for agents cannot be paid, which the ownership understands little about,” the journalist reported.

According to Musmarra, therefore, the stance of the American ownership on free transfers had already been clarified by the Nerazzurri president in recent days. The line drawn concerns in particular the commissions to intermediaries and the signing bonuses linked to this type of market operation.
