The world of Italian football has been shaken by painful news: Valentina Baldini, daughter of Silvio, has passed away at the age of 30. She had suffered from spastic tetraparesis since birth.
Baldini is the coach of the Under 21 national team and led the senior national team in the last two friendlies after Gattuso‘s departure and after failing to qualify for the 2026 World Cup.
Inter released an official statement of condolence: “FC Internazionale Milano stands by the Baldini family and Silvio in this time of mourning. The entire Club expresses its deepest condolences for the passing of Valentina’s daughter.”
