Inter accelerates in the transfer market after weeks of complicated negotiations. The squad is not yet complete and the management has decided to step up the search for a right winger to entrust to Chivu.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, the Nerazzurri club has started a determined push for Djed Spence, the English full-back from Tottenham who is playing today in the World Cup final against Argentina. The Romanian coach has given the green light to speed up the pursuit of this target, considered the ideal solution for the right flank.
The choice of Spence comes after a troubled summer in the search for wingers. The negotiation for Palestra ended in disappointment, while the Arab-Israeli full-back Khalaili left Milan without signing the contract due to issues that emerged during his medical examination. Even the numerous profiles proposed by agents did not convince the club.
In this complicated context, Inter has identified Spence as the third option to strengthen the position previously held by Dumfries. The management wants to close the deal quickly to provide Chivu with the requested reinforcement and finally complete the squad.
