Cocchi between Padua and Catanzaro, negotiations for a loan in Serie B

Destination Serie B for Matteo Cocchi. The winger from Bologna, after his first season among professionals with Inter U23, will not stay another year in the third division: the move to Serie B now appears to be finalized.

Padova seemed to be in pole position to secure the young player on loan, with an agreement already reached with Inter. The club from Veneto is now trying to also get the player’s approval to close the deal. However, Catanzaro has not given up and is attempting to overtake the competition.

According to LaCasadiC, the Calabrians, although starting from a disadvantaged position compared to the Venetians, are trying to get ahead of Padova in the race for Cocchi‘s loan. Pisa, on the other hand, is lagging behind the other two contenders, making the negotiation essentially a two-way race.

Inter will in any case retain control of the player’s registration rights, regardless of the destination chosen for the loan.
