The San Siro crowd responded with a long embrace for Alessandro Bastoni, who felt all the Nerazzurri affection while in Spain the courtship from Barcelona continues with very strong media pressure.
In particular, the Catalan newspaper Sport, in its online edition, today publishes a hot update titled: “Deco (Barcelona’s sporting director, ed.) warns Inter: either they lower Bastoni’s price or they will go for Lucumì”.
Barcelona, it is reported, has made a first offer of 45 million euros with a salary of over 5 million euros per season for the player. Still far from the 60 million euros which would be the minimum amount to negotiate, according to sources in Spain.
If things get complicated and it is not possible to negotiate at lower figures, the Blaugrana would be ready to turn to another name: that of Lucumì from Bologna. Sport cites the newspaper Il Resto del Carlino, which spoke of a very strong move by Barça for the Colombian defender whose contract expires in 2027.
It’s a heated situation, while Sport also adds that the deal for Bastoni to Barcelona is one on which all parties are currently working.
