The transfer market in Italy officially closed just a few hours ago. It was a final day full of emotions and twists, even for Inter, where two deals were completed. The first concerned the arrival in Milan of Manuel Akanji, while outgoing, the loan of Benjamin Pavard to Marseille was finalized.

A double deal that did not particularly convince the Nerazzurri fans, also due to the not-so-brilliant performance shown by Bisseck last Sunday. Yet, it was the Nerazzurri club that strongly pushed for the German defender to remain in the squad, at the expense of the Frenchman. On this subject, La Gazzetta dello Sport revealed an offer that was rejected in recent weeks.

From Crystal Palace, the team that has often been close to Bisseck, Inter is said to have rejected a huge offer of 42 million euros. A very high figure, but still considered inadequate by the Nerazzurri compared to the real value of the defender. Now it will be up to the German to repay on the field the trust shown by the club, leaving behind a few too many lapses seen against Udinese.
