In the past few hours in Turkey, many rumors have resurfaced regarding a possible strong return of Galatasaray for Hakan Calhanoglu. The Istanbul club has repeatedly tried to get their hands on the Inter playmaker, but in the end, the Nerazzurri club blocked the departure of their number 20 due to a lack of suitable offers.
However, today’s edition of Tuttosport confirms these rumors coming from Turkey and explains how Galatasaray would still like to sign Calhanoglu, since the transfer window there closes on September 12. The newspaper does point out, however, that it is difficult for Inter to accept an offer now that the transfer window is closed; these are the words:
“Speaking of the midfield, Galatasaray, despite signing Gundogan, would still crave Calhanoglu after the media courtship in June and July. In Turkey, the transfer window closes on September 12, but Inter, even in the face of a suitable offer (not less than 20 million), will hardly be able to say yes now.”
