There are now only a few days left until the start of the new edition of the Champions League, which for Inter features some opponents and a schedule that are not entirely easy. Precisely in light of the publication of the schedules for all 36 participating teams in the European competition, some predictions have come out.

As always in this case, it is the Supercomputer from Opta that comes forward with predictions, and thanks to the calculations of its algorithms, it has predicted what the top ten positions of the next Champions League standings will be. Obviously, the field will have to give the final verdict, but this prediction would not be pleasant for Inter.

According to Opta‘s calculations, Inter will be the top Italian team in the standings but would finish in ninth place, meaning the first team that will have to play the playoffs without gaining direct access to the round of 16. As can be seen from the standings below, Chivu’s Nerazzurri are placed just behind the great European powerhouses.
