The redundancies that, in fact, still remain today on Inter’s transfer list are only two. The first (and much heavier in terms of salary) is Mehdi Taremi, whom the Nerazzurri want to send away so they no longer have to pay his high wages, while the second is the young Tomas Palacios, who has not convinced in terms of quality.
When everything seemed set for the transfer of the Argentine defender to Santos, an unexpected change of decision has arrived. As reported by Gianluca Di Marzio, Palacios’s move to the Brazilian club now seems very much in doubt, and these are decisive hours to understand what will happen.
The market expert journalist in fact speaks of second thoughts on the part of the Inter defender. It is therefore possible that Palacios has changed his mind at the last minute, preferring not to accept Santos’s offer to test himself in the Brazilian league for now; it cannot be ruled out that the 2003-born center-back may perhaps still prefer to try to stay in Europe.
