The Croatian midfielder was making his absolute debut in the Italian league and immediately delivered an exceptional performance with an assist for Thuram and also several chances that almost turned into goals.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, he could start as a starter again on Sunday for the match against Udinese, again at San Siro, valid for the second round of Serie A. The “problem” for coach Cristian Chivu is that Hakan Calhanoglu will return from suspension and will therefore be available to play.
