After a official contract renewal announced yesterday, Francesco Pio Esposito has committed to Inter until June 2030. The young forward, born in 2005, is doing extremely well in his second consecutive loan spell at Spezia in Serie B, as evidenced by the 14 goals he has scored during this current campaign.

Contrary to rumors circulating in recent weeks, the young striker is unlikely to be made available for Simone Inzaghi‘s squad for the Club World Cup. As reaffirmed by La Gazzetta dello Sport, Inter decided not to force the issue with the Italian Football Federation, giving the player the opportunity to participate with the Azzurri’s team at the upcoming U21 European Championships in the summer of 2025.

Only should Inter progress beyond the first stage of the competition could there be the possibility of bringing Pio Esposito into the squad at a later stage. As for next season, however, there is no doubt: the Nerazzurri plan to loan the 2005-born talent to another club in Serie A.
