Important news ahead of the return leg between Inter and Bayern Munich, scheduled for next Wednesday, April 16 at San Siro. Indeed, two players resumed training yesterday and could seriously be recalled for the decisive match which will determine qualification for the Champions League semifinals.
As confirmed by Vincent Kompany during yesterday’s press conference, both Aleksandar Pavlovic and Kingsley Coman were tested in training. They are unlikely to participate in this afternoon’s match between Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund, but are expected to be available for the Champions League quarter-final return match against Inter.
Both players will still have to undergo further tests before a final decision is made. The German midfielder is returning after an extended period caused by mononucleosis, while the French winger has experienced some muscular issues during recent weeks. According to reports from Bild, both players should nevertheless be included in the squad for Inter vs. Bayern Munich.
