It certainly wasn’t a memorable performance played last night by Inter in the derby against Milan, quite the opposite. The Nerazzurri team almost seemed to have underestimated the importance of the event, taking to the field with little cohesion. In the post-match analysis of last night, aired on Pressing, Ivan Zazzaroni analyzed the reasons for Nerazzurri’s defeat.

According to the well-known journalist, Inter fans should not worry considering the overall strength of the squad in Simone Inzaghi’s hands. A defeat that was largely due to the great game played by the Rossoneri, but also due to some unusual sins of individuality shown by Inter players.

This is Zazzaroni’s comment: “Inter has the same fire as last year. Milan played a great game, Inter didn’t play badly. They played far too individually when they looked for the result, to draw, the search for a tie was much more individual than as a team. They could easily have taken five goals, that’s where they went wrong, but the team is in good mental and physical condition. They probably had a bit of a lull in the first ten minutes of the first half and at the start of the second half. This is a complete team, it has no problems with second lines. It also did wrong with the three starting midfielders, it’s not like much had to be changed”.
