Zanetti presents the charity event of the PUPI Foundation in Naples

The vice president of Inter, Javier Zanetti, presented to the microphones of Sky Sport the major charity event organized by the Fondacion PUPI in Piazza Plebiscito in Naples. The initiative celebrates an important milestone for the foundation.

“It’s 25 years for the Fondacion PUPI, a great achievement for us. Argentina and Naples have a strong bond and, moreover, the foundation’s activities are based in the neighborhood where Diego Armando Maradona was born, Villa Fiorito. We sincerely hope it will be a great celebration,” said Zanetti.

The vice president revealed that during the evening there will be a special tribute to the Pibe de Oro: “That year Diego performed magic, the most beautiful goal of all the World Cups. There will be a very emotional tribute by Federico Buffa, and everyone present will be able to enjoy it.”

Numerous former footballers who shared the field with Maradona will participate in the event. “Tonight there will also be many former players who went a long way together with Diego; it’s important that they are present at this initiative because sensitivity towards people in need is very important,” concluded the vice president.
