Zalewski introduces himself: I must thank Mourinho. I am inspired by a former Inter player.

On the official club TV, the new acquisition of Inter, Nicola Zalewski, who took part in the Welcome Home format, was introduced. The Polish full-back shared some anecdotes about his childhood in the province of Rome, where he grew up, and then revealed some secrets about how his Serie A career began.

Zalewski starts by thanking former Inter coach José Mourinho, with whom he worked in Roma: My role changed in the first team thanks to Mourinho. In a match against Verona there were many injuries and I was still in the youth team but at that point the coach decided to thrust me in and from there I grew a lot.

Inter’s number 59 also talks about his friendship with Mkhitaryan also from Roma and Zielinski teammates in the Polish national team: Being with them every day is different, I admire Piotr a lot. Making my debut in the derby was a great thrill for me, it’s a match that all Inter fans care a lot about. I’m happy to have debuted in this way and the team deserves a lot of credit.

Finally, the wing player of the 2002 class tells who he looks up to as a model and a reference point: I think I am a fast player and I have a good shot. As a professional, I have always admired Cristiano Ronaldo, especially for his attitude off the field. As a wingback, I admired someone who passed through Inter, namely Ivan Perisic.
