With the preliminary phase closed, the final list of the 36 teams that will take part in the next Champions League 2025/26 has been defined. This afternoon, therefore, we will discover the complete schedule of the league phase with the draws that will take place in Monte Carlo starting at 6:00 PM.
The real novelty of this edition concerns, first of all, the new time for the final in Budapest on May 30: Uefa has officially decided to bring forward the last act of the Champions League by three hours, setting the final of this edition at 6:00 PM.
As for the composition of the league phase of the Champions League, it will be possible to follow the Monte Carlo draws live from 6:00 PM on Prime Video, Sky Sport, and free-to-air on TV8. As already seen last year, there will no longer be the traditional eight groups, but each team will have to face eight different opponents for a single ranking among the 36 teams: 8 will go directly to the round of 16, while from 9th to 24th place will qualify for the playoffs.
Inter, thanks to an excellent Uefa ranking, will be among the teams in the first pot. This will not provide any advantages in the draw, considering that the Nerazzurri – like all the other teams – will still have to face two opponents from each pot, as established by the new regulations (HERE ARE THE ALGORITHM’S PREDICTIONS FOR INTER).
