A very amusing moment occurred after the Italy-Belgium match, involving Federico Dimarco. During an interview on Rai Uno, journalist Alberto Rimedio commented on the brilliant sweep with which Dimarco provided service to Cambiaso for the second goal for Italy, asking him if he had taken inspiration from Hakan Calhanoglus right foot.

Dimarco denied this, recalling that he had executed a similar play during an Inter-Barcelona match two years ago. Moreover, the number 32 for Inter consistently – and for years – draws exceptional trajectories with his left foot. Below is the video of the event:
