There are still several months until the first edition of the new Club World Cup, but Inter has already taken steps to strengthen its squad ahead of the competition. Petar Sucic, in fact, is expected to be the first addition for Inzaghi, but in the last few hours, the management have been considering another reinforcement.
This time, however, it does not come directly from the transfer market. In fact, Valentin Carboni has ended his time at Marseille and is ready to return to Inter. As reported by Corriere dello Sport, the club’s idea would be to include him this summer in the squad that will compete in the tournament in the United States.
Carboni, therefore, would add a further option in the attack for Inzaghi. However, now that he has returned to Milan, it is clear that his condition and recovery time need to be properly evaluated, after the serious injury that forced him to conclude his loan spell at Marseille prematurely.
