After more than two months, the summer transfer window ended last night, which for Inter concluded with a last-minute signing, namely Manuel Akanji from Manchester City. The transfer windows are closed in Serie A and in the other main European leagues, but not everywhere: they are still open in Turkey, Belgium, Switzerland, and Arabia.

There is also the free agent market which can sometimes offer some surprises for clubs that have not managed to complete their squad as they would like. In the list of “free agents” today there are still some important players and two of them have also had a fairly recent past with Inter.

They are Christian Eriksen and Rafinha Alcantara who, according to the values of Transfermarkt, are still among the best players without a contract today. Other important players on the free agent list are: Takehiro Tomiyasu (defender), Josh Brownhill (midfielder), Kurt Zouma (defender), Sergio Reguilón (defender), Josh Dasilva (midfielder), Kelechi Iheanacho (forward), Hakim Ziyech (forward).
