The negotiations for Ademola Lookman are at a standstill, with Inter‘s pressure not seeming to convince Atalanta, despite the complete breakdown with the player. It’s a complicated situation that could lead the Nerazzurri to a change of strategy.
According to Sky Sport, in fact, the new target could be Manu Koné from Roma. It would be a different kind of signing, which Inter might consider given the convincing performances of Bonny and Esposito in attack and the possibility for Mkhitaryan and Zalewski to play as attacking midfielders.
Roma could open up to selling a top player to finance other market investments more suited to Gasperini. However, the TV broadcaster also reports that at the moment there have been no direct contacts with Inter.
