Oumar Solet will not be playing tomorrow at San Siro. The Udinese defender is out due to injury for the match against Inter, but last summer he was close to wearing the Nerazzurri shirt.
According to Gianluca Di Marzio on Sky Sport, the deal did not go through for economic reasons. Udinese valued Solet at over 30 million euros, a figure the Friulian club asks for its top talents. Inter decided not to invest that amount in that defensive profile.
It was an option considered in the early stages of the summer transfer window, but in the end the Nerazzurri club preferred to drop the pursuit. Tomorrow Solet will therefore not be able to face what could have been his team.
