In the minds of the Inter executives and Cristian Chivu, Djed Spence is the right man to whom they want to entrust the heavy legacy left by Denzel Dumfries. Tottenham is asking for 35 million, a figure that could rise after the excellent World Cup played by the Englishman. But the Nerazzurri management is not limiting itself to just this option.
According to Corriere dello Sport, other names remain on the list of candidates for the right flank. Negotiations for Doué have cooled due to resistance from Strasbourg and the costs involved. Romero, on the other hand, is now on standby: his arrival would only be possible on a loan deal.
The options of Read from Feyenoord and Vanderson from Monaco are still being considered. These are two profiles that the management continues to evaluate as possible reinforcements for the right side. Also to be monitored are Belghali from Verona and Ndoye from Nottingham Forest, who remain among the alternatives under consideration.
The Nerazzurri strategy appears clear: focus on Spence without, however, giving up several backup solutions, in order to be ready in case the main operation becomes complicated.
