Milan is preparing for the Australian friendly against Inter with encouraging signs from Gonçalo Ramos and Rafael Leao. The two Portuguese players have worked with the group for the second consecutive day, already showing decent form according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.
Ruben Amorim has scheduled training sessions around noon to get the team used to the timing of the upcoming matches, against the Nerazzurri in Perth and Chelsea in Jakarta. The coach is intensifying tactical work and is carefully assessing the squad’s workload.
The former Paris Saint-Germain striker could get his first minutes in a Rossoneri shirt precisely in the friendly against Inter. The final decision will be up to Amorim, who will have to consider the overall condition of the group.
Gila is still dealing with a muscle problem in his right thigh suffered against Celtic, while Ricci has been slowed down by tonsillitis. Nkunku, on the other hand, has recovered after a knock.
Leao should also be used in the friendly, but for the striker the match inevitably also represents a showcase for the transfer market. Galatasaray and Fenerbahçe continue to follow him, with the latter ready to present a second offer. However, Milan does not intend to consider offers below 50-60 million euros.
After half a day of rest, the schedule includes an optional recovery session between the pool and the gym. The goal is to arrive at the clash with Inter with greater sharpness, with Ramos and Leao finally ready to take the stage.
