The possibility of John Stones for Inter remains. According to Alfredo Pedullà, a transfer market expert, the deal for the defender is still linked to that for Pavard.
“Stones is tied to Pavard, there’s no point in arguing otherwise: then maybe there comes a time when Stones can go elsewhere and Pavard is left with you, and so you decide to go ahead with the deal anyway, but if you sign two defenders of this caliber you would make an exponential leap in quality,” declared Pedullà.
The two moves are connected, although market circumstances could lead the club to consider signing one of the two independently of the other. The arrival of both defenders would represent a significant strengthening of the defensive department.
