The Armenian then added in the post-match press conference:
This defeat hurts us, in the first half we created a lot without exploiting it. In the second half we started badly, that’s how football is. This year we’re struggling against big teams but we don’t give up and remain confident.
Are we still unbeatable? I will always say we are because I trust my teammates, even in the first half we were unbeatable and could have scored 2-3 goals at least. We were unable to break the deadlock. Our objectives don’t change, it’s not that if we lose one game we no longer fight.
Did Napoli’s draw take away Inter’s concentration? No, we stay focused on our match and our game. We weren’t sharp enough, not enough to win. We need to improve, learn and do more and believe that we can grow.
