This month will see two clashes between Milan and Inter, as the Derby della Madonnina will be played at San Siro in the semi-finals of the Coppa Italia. The first leg, played at the Rossoneri’s home, has already taken place and ended in a 1-1 draw, leaving everything open for the return match, which will see more Nerazzurri supporters in attendance.
The two Milanese clubs, however, could also confront each other on the transfer market. According to today’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport, Milan wishes to assemble a squad made up increasingly of Italian players for next season, and is also eyeing players currently at Inter.
There are many names linked with the Rossoneri for the upcoming summer transfer window, including Lucca, Comuzzo, Pellegrini, Chiesa, Orsolini, and Cristante. However, the paper also mentions Davide Frattesi, a midfielder who may leave Inter and whom Milan is also considering for next season.
