The transfer of Anan Khalaili to Crystal Palace is now finalized. The English club has completed all the formal steps to secure the Israeli right-back from Union Saint Gilloise, with a deal worth 21 million pounds, about 25 million euros.
This was confirmed by Fabrizio Romano with his classic “here we go”: “Crystal Palace completes all the formal steps for the Anan Khalaili deal with Union St Gilloise. A fee of £21m has been agreed and the paperwork is now ready. Crystal Palace gets a new right-back. Khalaili did not pass the medicals at Inter but will now join Palace.”
An unusual story, considering that the amount paid by Palace corresponds to just under 25 million euros, which was the amount agreed with Inter before the player failed his medicals in Milan. Now the full-back is preparing to start his adventure in the Premier League.
