Inter is working on Curtis Jones. The English midfielder, who was left out of Liverpool‘s squad yesterday, has clear ideas: he wants to move to Milan and wear the Nerazzurri shirt. This desire is a decisive factor in the negotiation.
The player does not intend to renew his contract, which expires in 2027, putting the English club at a crossroads. Inter has not yet reached the 40 million requested by the Reds, but the gap is narrowing: the Nerazzurri can go up to 30-35 million, an amount that Liverpool could accept to avoid losing the player for free in a year.
A slot in midfield has opened up after the sale of Frattesi. The management is also working on other departures: Massolin, who is about to return from injury, is set to leave on loan. For Asllani, they are instead looking for a permanent solution.
The Luis Henrique issue remains open. According to Il Giorno, there is a preliminary agreement with Roma on the basis of 27-28 million euros. However, the Brazilian has not yet given his consent to the transfer, while the Giallorossi are prioritizing other negotiations. The management is working to satisfy Chivu, who has been asking for Jones for some time.
